Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Once again we are taking part in the Great North Run. The 13th September would have been my Dad s, Kirstys Grandads 88th Birthday and we ll be thinking about him the whole way round. He was able to see Kirstys medal from last year but sadly he passed away from complications related to his operation on the 11th September. Hopefully he ll be looking down on us and feeling proud although we could never match his half marathon times, its going to be hard in many ways but we ll get round.
