My Story

Hello!!

This year has not been an easy one for some of my nearest and dearest.

Right at the end of 2024, my best friend's father, Stuart, lost his battle to cancer. Then in February 2025, my sister's mother in law, Pam and my colleague Linda's husband, Charlie both died of different types of cancer in the same week.

I want to fundraise for Cancer Research UK and with that, I have signed up to complete the Great North Run, the biggest (60,000 people!) half marathon in the world. It starts from Newcastle and ends in South Shields, where Pam lived all of her life, so it comes with great significance to our family.

I will be running the half marathon with their names on my t-shirt, along with my dad's name Paul, who passed away in 2012 due to cancer complications.

If you could donate for this cause, then i would be forever grateful. I have to raise £500! Anything more would be a massive bonus! So, please share with friends and family far and wide and let's raise lots of money!! Thank you all in advance.

Let's do this!!!
