My Story

This September I will be taking part in the GNR I am raising money for willowburn Hospice in memory of my amazing Grandad, William Burdon...he was one in a million...always willing to help, he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much

He over come many struggles with his health over the years but never complained and always fought through...but unfortunately he lost his last fight with liver cancer on 27th Aug 2024... he spent his final 4 weeks of his life in willowburn Hospice they took such good care of him until his final moments.

This is why I wanted to give something back as a huge thank you to the Hospice and the staff, i will forever be grateful 

Now I'm in no way a runner, now or ever so I wanted to do some thing that was out of my comfort zone and the GNR is just that...I just want to make my grandad proud...
