My Story

Mrs P was originally going to be running the Great North Run for Versus Arthritis but sadly having run 5 hour marathons in the past, her RA is so bad that even walking a km on a bad day is a challenge so up steps super hero Moi to take her place, what could possibly go wrong I hear you ask? 😂

Queue drum roll......

Stage 4 Bowel Cancer is what. It's popped a rather inconvenient bump in my training to say the least. It is still my full intention to race, my oncology team want me to carry on running and cycling, so I'll be doing my utmost to get to the start, and if you get to the start you get to the finish, even with 8 rounds of chemotherapy flowing through my veins! 😀

Joking aside RA is a totally crappy disease so anything you can or have donated is hugely appreciated ☺️
