My Story

I have chosen to run the Great North Run for WISHH to help raise funds towards their Baby Loss Appeal. They are raising funds to enable them to enhance the bereavement facilities at Hull Women's and Children's Hospital. Having suffered a number of miscarriages myself I know how important these facilities are. If you are able to help support their Appeal in anyway it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

WISHH stands for Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals. We fundraise to compliment and enrich the services and facilities at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital, over and above what can be achieved by the NHS alone, for the benefit of patients, their loved ones, visitors and staff.

Hull Hospitals serve a population of 600,000, which increases to approximately 1.25m for a range of specialist services. Over 1 million patients receive care each year.

Working in partnership with Hull Hospitals, we enhance the patient experience and give the comfort and wellbeing of patients and their families the attention of their medical needs, helping make a real difference.
