My Story
Having been a runner since the age of 10, there have been several runs that have accumulated on my bucket list and the Great North Run was one of the first. The opportunity to participate in the largest running event in the UK for a charity that have sustainable and community focused goals that align to my personal beliefs was too good to pass on. It is also the perfect warm up for the Budapest Marathon in October. By donating to Preloved Sports CIC, you are helping prevent unnecessary waste of sports clothing, help grow the UK's running community and improve sustainability of running events.
Preloved Sports CIC is a non-profit CIC who's mission is to reduce the amount of sportswear going to landfill and build a more sustainable method of getting people active. Since being founded in March 2021, they have saved more then 2.3 tonnes of used sportswear from being wasted to landfill.
70% of sportswear donated to Preloved Sports, goes out to other charities to help those in need. Help us to help others become active.
