My Story

The North East Autism Society is the leading provider of care and education for autistic and neurodivergent children, young people and adults in the North East of England.

This includes their 16-week Youth Employment service programme aimed at helping autistic and neurodivergent 18-24 year olds boost their confidence and improve their skills by gaining real-life experience of workplaces and taking part in weekly workshops with employment specialists.

I participated in the programme in the summer of 2023 and it helped me to improve my interview skills. I was also introduced to North Tyneside Employability & Skills, who organised the Get into Cobalt course that I enjoyed participating in last November.

Any donations to help the charity to keep providing the services that they do would be much appreciated.
