My Story

Hi, my name is Nithila and welcome to my AJ Bell Great North run 2025 page for Cardiomypathy UK !

This September, I’m running the Great North Run in support of Cardiomyopathy UK — a charity close to my heart. Cardiomyopathy is a serious heart condition that can affect anyone, at any age, and often with little or no warning. It can lead to heart failure, disability, or even sudden death — and yet so many people have never even heard of it.

I’ve chosen to run for Cardiomyopathy UK because of the work they do and I believe it genuinely makes a difference. They support families going through some of the toughest times imaginable, and they help people get the right diagnosis, treatment, and information when they need it most.

I’m running to raise awareness, to support those affected, and to help make sure no one has to face cardiomyopathy alone. Every donation, no matter how small, really does count — and I’d be so grateful for your support!!
