My Story

Please help support me by making a donation to the British Heart Foundation (BHF), a charity dedicated to fighting cardiovascular diseases. 

I've experienced my own heart health issues back in early 2023, when I developed severe breathlessness and was later diagnosed with a chronic total occlusion (i.e. total blockage) at the top of my right coronary artery (RCA). 

I was admitted to Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, UK in June 2023 where Dr Sarah Clarke, Dr Stephen Hoole and the Royal Papworth Hospital team were fortunately able to unblock my RCA and fit it with a 4cm stent.

Amazingly, I'm back to running half and full marathons once again and now taking on the AJ Bell Great North Run for the first time.
