Join Maggie's Arc- help us defeat Rhabdomyosarcoma

 Maggie's Arc is part of a powerful movement under Alice's Arc- a growing community of families, scientists and doctors united in one mission: to defeat Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. 

This mission is deeply personal.

 Maggie was one of the most beautiful young ladies I've ever had the pleasure of knowing - inside and out.  Her warmth, kindness and bravery left an unforgettable mark on everyone who met her. 

Tragically, just after her 18th birthday, Maggie lost her battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma. Two years on, she still leaves a massive void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. The pain of losing her continues to devastate her wonderful parents, Lyn and David and her many close friends, who carry her memory with them every single day. 

Maggie's Arc was created to honour her, to keep her legacy alive, and to ensure that one day other families might have hope in the face of this cruel disease. Through her Arc, we raise vital funds for research, support and advocacy.  Every step we take is for Maggie, and for every child who deserves a future free from Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is not only rare – it’s under-researched and often overlooked. But the impact it has is devastating.

    •    🎗 RMS is a rare soft tissue cancer, most commonly affecting children and young people.

    •    💔 Treatment protocols are outdated, often relying on decades-old chemotherapy and radiation.

    •    ⚠️ High-risk and relapsed cases have very low survival rates, with limited treatment options.

    •    🧬 There is a desperate need for more targeted, less toxic therapies.

    •    💡 Progress in research relies heavily on fundraising and awareness efforts led by families like ours.
