Running the great north run (half a marathon) in memory of my son Luca 💙

My Story
Hi my name is Shana, the mammy of my little boy Luca, Luca was my first born child my perfect son. on October the 21st 2022 my whole world came crashing down when Luca died suddenly in his sleep at just 8 weeks and 5 days old. A day myself, my husband and our families will never be able to get over, the day our lives changed forever 💔. Following the death of Luca we reached out to the amazing charity 4louis who gave us and continue to give not just us but so many families support through misscaraige, still birth, infant and child loss. Without the support of 4 Louis we would never have got last memories and moments to cherish of our son. the work they do across the whole country is beyond amazing. Over the last few years we have fundraised and supported 4louis in all the amazing work they do, so this year I have decided to run the great north run (half a marathon) to continue enabling to support them. All donations help towards memory boxes for families of there little ones, cuddle cots, bereavement suite's education in hospitals and so much more.
