Our STS Charity runners will take on the biggest and best half marathon this year to raise money that supports our patients and staff.

STS Charity is the dedicated charity of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. We invest in the big and small things that the NHS can't, including enhanced equipment and facilities that help make our services go further.

This year our runners are raising money to support a number of areas, including our older persons wards, neonatal unit and our Vision Appeal - which is supporting the development of a brand new eye hospital in Sunderland.

About the Great North Run
